Sometimes we surfed. Sometimes we simply sat on the beach and listened to the waves. The ocean became our sanctuary: a place to pause, reconnect, and find perspective.

We started Ocean Sanctuary to share that connection with our Virginia Beach community, and to protect the coast that gives us so much.
